HIAB® Hire Grays provides reliable, on-time material-handling support throughout RM17 and the wider Thurrock area. We’re generator lifting specialists who understand the realities of commercial sites and fast-moving deliveries.

Many calls involve a lorry arriving at a unit, yard or warehouse without suitable mechanical handling on site. Our operated lorry-mounted crane service fills that gap with safe, controlled offloads and precise placement.

Typical work includes palletised stock, packaged machinery, standby generators, switchgear cabinets, HVAC equipment, construction products and industrial components that exceed manual capability.

Bringing the correct loader crane at the booked time turns vehicles around quickly and sets goods down in the agreed laydown area, plant room, loading bay or storage location.

We support warehouses, factories, construction firms, M&E contractors, logistics providers, industrial units, workshops, retailers and other commercial operations across Grays and Thurrock.

Selecting the right crane truck involves more than headline weight. Dimensions, centre of gravity, lift radius, hook height, ground bearing and access all influence the configuration we recommend.

Commercial deliveries run to schedule. If a lorry arrives and there’s no handling equipment, waiting charges mount and programmes slip. The right loader crane prevents those delays.

Loader crane hire in Grays is a practical solution when palletised goods, generators, machinery, building products or industrial equipment need a controlled mechanical offload.

Rather than keeping a driver on standby, book a precise time so the truck can be turned around efficiently and the load placed where it’s needed.

Perfect for sites that don’t keep a permanent crane truck but occasionally receive heavy or awkward deliveries across RM17 and surrounding Thurrock postcodes, including West Thurrock and Tilbury corridors.

Loader crane work involves heavy loads, moving vehicles and people. Each job is planned around the load characteristics, crane capability and site layout to maintain safe, controlled operations.

Before lifting, the work area should allow clear access and enough space for the crane truck to approach, stabilise and place goods precisely at the agreed set-down point.

Exact—or best-known—weights and dimensions are essential. Crane capacity changes with load configuration, radius and height, as well as how the item is supported or slung.

Site conditions matter too: uneven ground, gradients, soft or blocked surfaces, overhead restrictions, tight gates, pedestrians and traffic all shape how the lift is executed.
